Water

1990

A room is divided horizontally in half. The lower half is painted over several times a day with water. The wet walls, the floor, and the corners of the room then begin to reflect each other. The image of the room and its walls, reflected in perspective, is superimposed on their real image. The resulting image remains visible for about 20 minutes.
