“Project 46”
This work, which is made of artificial turf and consists of two circle segments intersecting in the glass wall, unites the inside and outside of the building. It is located at a central cross-roads of the museum. Here visitors decide where they want to go next: to the cafeteria, to the sculpture garden outside, or to the exhibition rooms upstairs. The green color of the installation draws attention to this spot where all paths in the museum cross. Whereas visitors relax on the turf outside as a matter of course, they tread on the turf inside only cautiously or not at all.
