Wall in Pieces

A photograph is made of a represenative piece of wall in the exhibiton rooms of the Kunsthalle Baden-Baden then duplicated using offset printing. The prints are cut out to fit 27 standard sizes used for clip-frames, placed in the holders, then hung on the wall about 5 cm apart. 1.177 picture holders are needed to fill the wall. All the framed duplications are numbered and signed, as is customary for a limited edition. They may be purchased - prices varying with size. Thus the installation gradually disappears in the course of the exhibition as its constituent parts are sold off.
